A description of my journey to improve my eyesight naturally

About January 6, 2008

I am from Wyoming, USA and enjoy the outdoors, playing the piano, yoga, and studying naturopathy.  Currently, I am a grad student in engineering.  In addition to my engineering studies I am self-schooling myself in areas of self-sufficient living as I hope to develop my own self-sufficient farm in the near future.

I have been working on improving my vision naturally since the beginning of 2008 and I am seeing incredible progress.  This blog describes the techniques I’m using and the progress I’ve made.

    Hi Sister!

I love the format of your blog 🙂 and am so happy that you are already seeing changes in your eyesight at such an early stage! This is so encouraging!

i was wondering how you found your natural vision instructor. i am now in new haven, and am looking for a class to take in the east coast. i will probably have a month of free time in the summer to go somewhere to take the class, preferably, new haven, new york city or boston. or could your instructor recommend someone/
thanks!! i would be very grateful

    Hi Carol!

I actually came across his ad in a naturopathic magazine at a health food store. It was a fluke that I even saw it and his website was listed in the ad. If there are any health food stores in your area they probably have similar free publications that list local natural teachers of various practices.

Here is a website of Bates teachers/Natural Vision Instructors. I don’t know anything about them, but it is a start. Most have websites and emails listed. I would recommend looking at several as there appear to be several teachers in your area! I would look into each one and find the one that strikes you as being most compatible with your situation.

Another option might be to ‘google’ different combinations of words (natural vision teacher bates method new york (or boston)) and see if anything comes up.

Let me know if I can be of any more help. I’ll email the natural vision teacher here and see if he has any recommendations for you!

    Good luck!

    Dear Sassy,

I am a electrical engineer. So when I use the term “control system”, or design a control-system — you will not have a problem with the concept. On my site I propose that a study for INFORMED COMPETENT engineers be conducted. From my work with Francis Young, and experience with other pilots — I believe that that kind of study would be truly effective (provided it is started before 20/70 is exceeded.) You will find the proposed study on my site about “Aeronautical College”. I need help from a lot of people for this effort — obviously!

  5. Dear Sassi

Love your blog and wanted to tell you I have been successful in training my eyes to see without glasses. I used the yoga exercises, bates, and another technique I learned at Villa Vegetariana in Mexico years ago. My best wishes to you – keep on keeping on.
Why I’m writing to you today is wondering how much my CD may benefit your progress – it is on my website and is called Gateway to Inner Peace For Deep Relaxation and Self-healing.
Its foundation is Autogenics and Biiofeedback to measure one’s results. Check out the webiste and let me know if you want to know more. My best to you.

Yes, I do understand control systems. I looked at the information on your website and the link to the Aeronautical College. This is great! I see that a lot has already been organized. When I get more time I plan to look into more links on your website, it looks like you have compiled a lot of very good information. Thanks for the info, I’ll be looking into it more thoroughly.

Farmer hey?! I would love to be a farmer if I am honest. I am currently looking for a house and when I do have one, my entire garden is going to be full of beautiful fruit, veg and hopefully a few animals – a few chickens at first. Everything natural is wonderful 🙂

  8. sassisailor Says:

That’s exciting! I hope you find a house soon! I’m getting very anxious to plant our garden. I am thinking of starting a blog about our gardening and eventually we plan to have chickens, pigs, a milk cow, and perhaps some ducks. We harvested so much from our garden last year I was able to do quite a bit of canning!
